A community built around execution, not noise
The Business Growth Academy community is where members pressure-test decisions, share real operating artefacts, and keep a weekly cadence. Threads are organised by the business operating system: demand, delivery, leadership, and strategy. Participation is practical—post a scorecard, a pipeline snapshot, or a hiring scorecard and get structured feedback.
How to post so you get useful answers
This preview shows the community rubric we teach: define the decision, provide context, share the artefact, and ask a bounded question. It prevents vague advice and keeps replies grounded in constraints.
Members share operating artefacts, not personal data. Keep client names out of screenshots and use anonymised figures when needed.
How the community is organised
The goal is not more discussion; it is cleaner decisions and faster execution. Threads are grouped so you can find the right level of detail quickly: demand generation, sales qualification, delivery capacity, and leadership routines. Each area uses a consistent vocabulary: leading indicators, entry/exit criteria, service level definitions, and owner-based accountability. When members share artefacts, we encourage a “minimum useful context” approach: enough to diagnose constraints without exposing sensitive commercial detail.
You will see recurring formats: a weekly scorecard, a pipeline review screenshot, a RACI map for decision rights, a draft offer with pricing logic, or an SOP outline for fulfilment. Replies are expected to stay anchored to the artefact, not generic platitudes. That standard is what keeps the community calm, methodical, and worth returning to.
Execution threads with clear standards
Decision-first posting templates and bounded questions
Most communities fail because posts are vague and replies are untestable. We use a simple rubric: the decision, the constraints, the artefact, and the question. That keeps discussions specific, reduces performative commentary, and makes it easier to apply feedback inside the week.
Scorecards and KPIs
Share leading indicators, definitions, and review cadence. Feedback focuses on metric hygiene, leading versus lagging indicators, and whether the scorecard matches the constraint.
Leadership routines
Calibrate 1:1 agendas, escalation rules, and decision rights. Common artefacts include RACI maps, manager scorecards, and meeting notes with commitments.
Events that support the weekly rhythm
The calendar is built around a simple loop: pipeline review, scorecard review, and decision workshops. The point is cadence. If you cannot attend live, use the replay and action notes to run the same ritual with your team.
Peer groups
Small circles for accountability and honest reflection. Members share a short update, one stuck decision, and next actions with owners and dates.
Event calendar (sample month)
Members get a rolling monthly calendar with live clinics and working sessions. Times are listed in UK time. Recordings are available when a session is replay-enabled. The intent is simple: provide recurring “slots” that make it easier to keep your operating cadence, even during busy periods.
| Date | Session | Format | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Pipeline Review Clinic: Stage definitions and next actions | Live clinic (replay-enabled) | Thu 18:00 |
| Week 2 | Leadership 1:1 Calibration: agendas, commitments, escalation rules | Workshop (replay-enabled) | Wed 12:30 |
| Week 3 | Operations Scorecard Review: leading indicators and definitions | Live clinic (replay-enabled) | Tue 09:00 |
| Week 4 | Strategy Decision Hour: segmentation, pricing logic, trade-offs | Roundtable (replay-enabled) | Fri 16:00 |
Calendar sessions are educational and operational. We do not review confidential client data in public threads; members are expected to anonymise documents and remove identifiable third-party information.
What members say about the community
Feedback is often about pace: the community makes it easier to keep moving week to week. Posts are anchored to artefacts, so replies are practical. Examples below reflect individual experiences and execution cadence. Results vary by industry, starting point, and team capacity.
The posting template is deceptively strict, and that is why it works. I shared our pipeline stages and the exact “next action” definition. The replies were about entry/exit criteria and leading indicators, not opinions. We changed the review agenda the same week.
The peer group check-ins are brief and surprisingly effective. We keep one shared scorecard and a decision log. When a week goes sideways, the community helps you return to cadence instead of starting a new “initiative” from scratch.
I posted an SOP outline for onboarding and asked where it was likely to fail. The feedback was granular: ownership, handoffs, and the definition of “done.” That one thread saved a lot of rework and made delegation less risky.
Request access and a suggested starting routine
If you already have a rhythm (weekly scorecard, pipeline review, leadership 1:1s), the community will help you tighten definitions and keep decisions visible. If you do not, we will suggest a simple starting routine that fits your current team size and delivery model. This is education and execution support; it is not a guarantee of business results.
- Posting templates that produce actionable replies.
- Monthly calendar of clinics and workshops, with replay availability.
- Peer circles for accountability and a calm, operator-led cadence.
